Pacquiao vs Cotto – September 25, 2009… an interview for the People’s Champ of the Philippines – Manny Pacquaio, was asked if he has a plan of running for a political position this upcoming 2010 Election. “Yes!” without further do, basically he wants to help as well as serve people. Pacquaio will run as a Congressman in Saranggani Province in Mindanao.
Pacquiao vs Cotto – Last election, he ran in the same position but was defeated by his opponent but that was in General Santos, this time, he will try his luck in Saranggani Province. But for the mean time, his fight against Cotto first is his prioritym after that, the politics would do.

Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto – Freddie Roach is now concern on both carrers of Pacquiao. Its the boxing and the politics. Freddie Roach now wants Pacquiao to decide once and for all what to choose between boxing and politics after his fight against the Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto.
Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto – Roach definitely know the situation, if Pacquiao will run once again for a position in politics, definitely this will distract Pacquiao’s concentration on his boxing carrer. Besides, it is even impossible for him (Pacquiao) to do both things, campaigning for his candidacy for the election and then promoting whether he has upcoming match?
This topic was brought up by Freddie Roach because by next year 2010, it is election time then by month of May. It is now up to Pacquiao for his decision, but much better he stays as a boxer and be contented of being an endorser of a politician for the upcoming election.

MANNY PACQUIAO VS MIGUEL COTTO – UPDATE Way back in the Philippines, where Manny is currently stays, everybody knows that “The People’s Champ” Manny Pacquiao is also within showbiz, temporarily, he will set aside it to concentrate on his training for his fight against Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico. Pacquiao has choosen “Baguio” which is the “Summer Capital of the Philippines” as his training ground. “Cotto is already a month of training while I’m just going to start this week, so there is still enough time for preparation.” Pacquiao said during his product endorsement on a hotel in Makati City, Philippines. He also added that this his last press conference before he leaves for his trainig on September 9.

Definitely my conditioning during the fight is not that good at all, that’s why I usually stick to this eight week training, besides, the result is obvious, I’m good in eight weeks and I’m in good condition.” Pacquiao also added the kind of training that he do for his fight against Cotto is usually learning the moves of his opponent. “If you train everyday, ofcourse, you also try to learn while training the styles and moves, the things that you are going to consider as well as what are the things that you are going to do for the fight.” Pacquiao was asked “What do you think is your advantageagainst Cotto?” Pacquiao simply reply “Ofcourse, its our speed.. we are definitely faster… those are the key why we usually win the fight.”
